Entapack
Complete design build and commissioning of the electrical control system on a large plastic bag manufacturing machine for Entapack, in Dandenong.
All processes are automated from the unrolling of sheet plastic, punching holes for fitments, fitting of parts and fitments into holes, and welding seams and fitments in place using heated bands. The system uses a VIPA plc programmed with Step 7 software, and a HMI Touchscreen programmed with a MOVICON software package.
The operator uses the HMI screen to enter the required weld time, weld heat and bag dimensions required to make the final bag as required. The system has a process for storing and retrieving “Recipies” for previous bags to aid quick product change.
