BGC plaster products
Design programming and installation of a complete robot cell for BGC plaster products in WA, on behalf of John Hart Automation in Clayton.
Control system consisted of a Fanuc industrial robot, a siemens PLC and HMI, SICK Safety plc and Siemens VSD Drives. The various parts of the system were connected using Profibus protocol. The cell was designed to pick up and paletize lengths of ceiling cornice. The equipment include programming of a pallet stacker so that when full each pallet could be automatically indexed out and replaced with a fresh pallet.
